Successful certification as the first CMPIC Master in Europe. This now also allows usb GmbH to exclusively train the Configuration Management (CM) standard SAE EIA 649-C and 649-1 (CM requirement for defence contracts) in Europe in addition to the basic courses 1 – 4 of CMPIC.

Since march 2019, usb has been a subcontractor of our parent company Philotech and has assumed responsibility for requirements management in the highway pilot project of a major automotive company.

In cooperation with Bombardier Transportation, usb applied for a research project last year. The aim is to develop an alternative drive train for rail vehicles. Weight reduction plays a central role here. The Mass Management Software M³ already in use at BT is to be expanded to analyse the weight reduction potentials and transfer them to other projects. The consortium for this 3-year research project also includes the Fraunhofer Institute IISB, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the companies Jenoptik and VIPCO.

Our CMPIC spring course took place for the first time in our new training room in Taufkirchen. Also this year we have many participants from different industries. All participants confirm that they can apply the course contents directly in their daily work and thus benefit us directly.
